Rick is a highly regarded Senior Executive with a deep background in corporate restructuring, capital raising, M&A and corporate finance. Having been with Ernst and Young for 35 years, Rick held multiple senior positions including Queensland Managing Partner. In 2010, Rick was appointed CFO and deputy COO of the EY Asia Pacific practice (1,200 partners, USD 3 billion revenue) and overseen the integration of EY member firms across Oceania, China and Asian countries.
Prior to this, Rick held the position of EY COO in Oceania, covering Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia and Fiji. In addition, he led EY’s Australia-China business group for 3 years as well as EY Australia’s Corporate Insolvency practice, through which he led many high profile restructuring assignments.

Following his retirement from EY in 2015, Rick currently serves on the boards and Audit & Risk committees of a number of listed and private Australian companies including Cettire (ASX:CTT), Step One (ASX:STP), MotorCycle Holdings (ASX:MTO), and Apiam Animal Health (ASX:AHX). Rick also serves on several advisory boards including HLB Chessboard, HBS (PNG) and Australian Super.
