Marie’s core strengths include the development of strategic plans that focuses on healthcare centre growth, project management, medical centre acquisitions, due diligence, improving systems, processes, integration, compliance, accreditation, operations and team building. Having spent a number of years in senior roles at some of Australia’s largest healthcare groups including Zenitas, Modern Medical, Medical One and SPORTSMED SA, Marie has in-depth knowledge and experience in understanding exactly what is required from an operations, structure and finance perspective in order for any healthcare group to undergo change management and growth.

Through senior roles such as General Manager - GPs, Executive Manager, Operations Manager and National Operations & Property Manager, Marie has had the responsibility of managing integrated medical centres.  Marie’s experience includes site mergers, site relocation,  reviewing/negotiating existing commercial leases, sub leases and negotiating new medical centre and corporate office leases.

Additionally, Marie has managed integrated healthcare centres and her scope of responsibility included managing medical practitioners, contract negotiations, renewals, financial analysis, budgets and reporting as well as negotiating asset sale deeds.

​

Marie has a strong HR background in the area of staff conflict resolution, medical practitioner agreement negotiations, centre registrar accreditation, registrar training programs and the management of medical practitioners and specialists across various healthcare industries.

Prior to this, Marie has held numerous roles that include Practice Manager, HR Generalist, General Manager - GPs, Operations Manager & Executive Director in Primary healthcare.
